چکیده

Chicken manure and composts derived from it are valuable organic fertilizers that have a positive impact on soil fertility significantly enhance crop yields. However, the application of fresh can lead to excessive concentrations nitrogen other nutrients in soil, as well contamination with microorganisms pathogenic humans animals. Therefore, is recommended compost chicken prior its use agriculture. This review examines composition properties manure, techniques involved composting, influence physical, chemical, biological soil. The utilization composted results increased levels carbon (on average by 1–1.5%), (by 0.1–0.2%), biophilic elements. Moreover, improves various physical such porosity, aeration, density. Levels pH increase 0.2–0.4), electrical conductivity 2–2.5 times), quantity water-resistant aggregates 5–10%). these also promotes activity, microbial diversity, biomass 25–75%), enzymatic activity (phosphatase catalase 5–7 times, urease 3–5 times). When incorporated into significant (2–4 times) population bacteria phyla Firmicutes, Bacteroidetes, Actinobacteria observed. necessity investigating effects chemical storage matter, pore space, ecotrophic structure microbiome discussed.

Composting Unamended Chicken Manure

Normally, manures are composted with amendments. However, a large commercial egg producer in Ohio i s composting unamended chicken manure. Studies were done to characterize this composting, both in situ and in pilot-scale vessels. While overly wet material can hamper initial operation, the general progression dries the material and produces a granular output that is below 20 percent (wet basis)...

The Effects of Manure and Nitrogen Fertilizer Applications on Soil Organic Carbon and Nitrogen in a High-Input Cropping System

With the goal of improving N fertilizer management to maximize soil organic carbon (SOC) storage and minimize N losses in high-intensity cropping system, a 6-years greenhouse vegetable experiment was conducted from 2004 to 2010 in Shouguang, northern China. Treatment tested the effects of organic manure and N fertilizer on SOC, total N (TN) pool and annual apparent N losses. The results demonst...

Influence of Chicken Manure Fertilization on Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria in Soil and the Endophytic Bacteria of Pakchoi

Animal manure is commonly used as fertilizer for agricultural crops worldwide, even though it is believed to contribute to the spread of antibiotic resistance from animal intestines to the soil environment. However, it is unclear whether and how there is any impact of manure fertilization on populations and community structure of antibiotic-resistant endophytic bacteria (AREB) in plant tissues....

Co-Composting of Poultry Manure with Different Organic Amendments

To study the influence of different organic amendments on the quality of poultry manure compost, three pilot composting trials were carried out with different mixes: poultry manure/carcasse meal/ashes/grape pomace (Pile 1), poultry manure/ cellulosic sludge (Pile 2) and poultry manure (Pile 3). For all piles, wood chips were applied as bulking agent. The process was monitored, over time, by eva...

Long-Term Effect of Manure and Fertilizer on Soil Organic Carbon Pools in Dryland Farming in Northwest China

An understanding of the dynamics of soil organic carbon (SOC) as affected by farming practices is imperative for maintaining soil productivity and mitigating global warming. The objectives of this study were to investigate the effects of long-term fertilization on SOC and SOC fractions for the whole soil profile (0-100 cm) in northwest China. The study was initiated in 1979 in Gansu, China and ...
